SCREENING AND EARLY DETECTION

Establishing a routine schedule for prostate cancer screening is the best way to detect prostate cancer in its earliest stages.

Talk to your doctor at your next checkup to discuss your particular risk factors.

In general screening for prostate cancer should begin in your 40s or 50s. If you have a family history of Prostate Cancer or have African ancestry, consider beginning screening at age 40.
